www.breakfastpolitics.com is published by Chris Wallace for Das Kapital Pty Ltd (ACN 109 312 629) and edited by Michelle Gilchrist. It's read first thing in the morning by MPs, staffers, journalists, diplomats and public servants in Canberra keen to get a jump on the day (and their rivals).
Wallace is a member of the Canberra Press Gallery where she has worked for a wide range of media outlets including "The Australian", "Australian Financial Review", "Business Review Weekly" and ABC-TV. She writes a weekly culture column for the "Canberra Times" and appears regularly on the electronic media as a commentator on political and cultural issues. A graduate of the ANU (BA, history & politics), Sydney University (BEc) and the University of NSW (MBA), Wallace's publications include "Greer, Untamed Shrew" (Pan Macmillan, 1997; Faber & Faber, 1999) and "The Private Don" (Allen & Unwin, 2004) on Australian cricketing legend, Sir Donald Bradman. She is currently a PhD candidate at the ANU's National Centre of Biography - her topic, "The politics of political biography".
